THE PRESIDENTS, THE TEAMS & OTHER INTERESTING TRIVIA |
Inter-Association Cricket Tournament 2011
The"BIG"FriendshipCup

The Friendship Cup is a unique concept for South Florida, and is primarily
inspired and modeled on the huge success of the DLF Indian Premier League
T20. Its primary aim being to bring all our various Indian Associations
together on a common platform – “Cricket” the sport we all love – create an
excitement and relive our cricketing days here in South Florida
– by having a Cricket Mela !
"thefriendshipcup" is a
non-profit organization. A few of the many aims of
thefriendshipcup organization is to sponsor Indian "youth cricket programs"
and encourage the game within all age groups. “thefriendshipcup” is funded
by monies that come in from individuals, corporate and
small
business sponsors and the Associations participating.
TFC Cricket - this third year, we have five associations participating
namely SAF, TASF, SCOF, SFTS & BAPS. We welcome our new teams and we
understand two other associations are interested for 2012 and are getting
their teams ready. The 2010 tournament was a huge success and we hope that
TFC III will be fully supported by the community and our sponsors.
This year we have a strategic partner -
BIG LEAGUE USA.
We thank them for everything they are doing for us and for cricket in South
Florida and in the USA. TFC III - will be "theBIGfriendshipcup" ! The finals
- a night match, will be played in the Main Stadium at
Central Broward
Regional Park ..............the Cricket Capital of USA !
We thank all our supporters and sponsors and wish all the teams the best of luck
- may the best team win! Go get the “CUP”!

Founded on the pillars of practical spirituality, the BAPS reaches out
