Half-Time Entertainment Show

As is usual we are of course planning a much bigger and grander event, centre stage. Fun for the whole family...........clowns, raffles, great Indian food, cotton candy, children's games.......and much much more....hope to see you there ! Come early so you do not miss the half-time show...HURRICANE BHANGRA by the UM folks headed by "Janki" their Captain. Reema's "Miami Masti" - a cute group of kids ages 8-12, fun masti dancing. Romeo "TASSA BOYZ" - a fantastic performance by 11 to 17 year olds. Amrit Boochoon - Arabian / Bellydance to Bollywood Mix Solo.

Amrit Boochoon

Born and raised in Broward County Florida. Comes from a family of talented singers, musicians and dancers. Started his dance career with Boenka School of Dance of Miami and is now a professional Dancer. Toured Europe and Canada recently and performs at many local and foreign Cultural events.His father, Bharath Boochoon just returned from Agra, India where he sang Bhojpuri Songs at The Taj Festival.

Amrit is very excited to be a part of the TFC. Is available for private events.

Introducing Ashlee M a teen singer/songwriter and winner at the world famous Apollo theater. Ashlee sings the US national anthem and also entertains at half times in many games. She sings along with bollywood type dancers. She is very popular in singing the song "jai ho'.

Please note Ashlee also sang for the congresswoman Debbie Wasserman inauguration.

Cricket Slang - what do these words/phrases mean

Here is some phrases used by commentators and fans, do you know what they mean ???

1. Grubber " That ball was a grubber"
2. Bunsen " The pitch is a bunsen"
3. Blob "The batsmen is on blob"
4. Chin Music (easy one) "their bowling chin music"
5. Bakerloo "the batsmen played bakerloo to that ball"
6. Pudding "the pitch is a pudding"
7. Sandshoe crusher "that was a sandshoe crusher"
